Zadar sets a soft seat inside a hard frame and lets the two stay separate. The frame is turned from solid wood and bent in one continuous curve. It rises from the front foot, sweeps back through the arm and drops again behind, so the chair is held rather than enclosed. Each arm is wrapped in sage leather along the stretch the hand falls on, and brass collars mark every joint, with brass ferrules under the feet.
The seat is a deep round cushion, 43 cm from the floor and 57 cm deep, banded at its base in the same leather as the arms; the back cushion is loose and rounded, standing clear of the frame. Made to order in Portugal in the weave, leather and wood stain you choose.
